eCommerce Technology Lead

Position Overview

The Ecommerce Lead manages and supports the integrations of all new clients and customers to the platform. Identifies enhancement opportunities for the current  customer-facing tools. Identifies and conducts training opportunities for both (internal) account managers and (external) customers and clients. Provides redundancies and support for the overall functioning of the Ecommerce Integration Team. Nurtures the overall online customer experience and functionality and encourages the transition of customers (where appropriate) from offline to online.

We are looking for a hands-on team leader who can work on the next generation of customer-facing applications for our client.   The ideal candidate must have at least 2-5 years of experience leading application development teams, defining solutions that match market needs and organization capabilities and delivering large-scale customer-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and review the design and develop solutions for the internet facing Zones sites
• Help and coach team members with their solutioning
• Bring in best practices for web application development including Devops, security and performance practices
• Influence and drive a high level of automation in application development practices
• Represent the team in solutioning with Stakeholders
• Interact with customers and end-users and align solutions to evolving needs

Basic Qualifications:

• 5-10 years contributing to application architecture- (please indicate such experience in your profile clearly)
• 5-10 years as leading teams to deliver Web applications with .NET
• Understanding and hands-on experience in developing on Azure
• Understanding of Front-end application development – Plain JS or ReactJS or similar frameworks
• Good practical understanding of DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps
• Exposure to the 12 factor App model is a plus
