Job Summary
 
The Project Implementation Specialist objective is to execute approved project plans, including daily implementation tasks of projects, through the project lifecycle utilizing established ATO processes and procedures to achieve a successful and timely outcome, within scope, while providing a great client experience
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Collaborate with Lead PM on initial client project kick-off calls
  • With minimal support and supervision, lead day-to-day activities tracking implementation activities to insure project stays on schedule
  • Manage the day of implementation to make sure objectives are met and resolve any issues
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and track day-to-day activities required to ensure the projects are accurately and completed within scope
  • Responsible for assessing the client’s exact needs and creating a plan to meet those needs
  • Manage client expectations with communication and follow-up, both verbal and written, on scheduled project events, client dependencies, post event execution and overall project progress
  • Communicate frequently with key stakeholders to report on the project’s overall progress
  • Responsible for managing this conflict and ensuring the problem is solved before the quality of the project is compromised
  • Review all project tasks (already noted in the PM Plan and\or in ConnectWise project tickets) with engineers and techs prior to execution to ensure a smooth execution
  • Identify, and strategize and work with Lead PM on, any changes/modifications that may be required during project rollouts and adjust implementation plans as needed
  • Communicate to internal teams of upcoming client project events such as milestones / cutovers that affect client’s environment and may necessitate additional internal team support
  • Provide post-implementation support to internal operations team, including cutovers and other post support tasks, to pursue timely resolution of any such issues
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to ensure any related tasks are carried out and completed in conjunction with internal teams 
  • Regular project tracking/reporting utilizing the ConnectWise Platform
  • Coordinate and facilitate resource allocation/scheduling and applicable product availability.
  • Obtain regular feedback from clients regarding project status and quality of service and take immediate corrective action as required
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree or higher in technological studies with 3-5 years of project implementation experience in IT.
  • Basic knowledge of infrastructure hardware, servers, firewalls, switches, DNS, VoIP, VPNs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and identify delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Proven track record of customer service skills
  • Comfort learning new tools and technology concepts quickly
  • Excellent tracking and follow up skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask & prioritize and problem-solve in a fast paced environment
  • Self-reliant and detail-oriented
  • Ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple projects and customers
  • Excellent in team work and collaboration
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
  • Working knowledge of ConnectWise, Kaseya, IT Glue, Visio, Microsoft Office Suite a plus
