Blue Yonder (JDA) Supply Chain Manager
The Work:
Supply Chain Planning individual who helps business users develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within the organization. Supply Chain Planning professionals develop and implement integrated supply and demand planning strategies that improve cost efficiency, increase business effectiveness and create synergies and collaboration across companies.
A professional at this position level has the following responsibilities:
- Lead a technical team of 6+ individuals that support and enhance the Demand and Fulfillment modules in Blue Yonder.
- Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where - analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.
- Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Scholastic on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
- Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Conduct the High Level Business Requirements gathering, project prioritization and To-Be state design workshops
Travel: Limited – maybe one or two trips per year
Qualifications
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of Blue Yonder (BY) or JDA experience in modules such as Fulfillment or BY/JDA Demand Planning
- Minimum of 4 years of Blue Yonder (BY) or JDA experience in vendor management working with Blue Yonder
Nice to have:
- 5+ years of experience in implementing large scale Master Planning solutions in the CPG/Manufacturing industry
- Hands on functional experience with the Blue Yonder application and has Implemented a Blue Yonder solution is a must
- Experienced in integrating Blue Yonder solution with other ERP applications(specifically Oracle Fusion)
- Experience in driving a business team through designing and/or re-designing complex planning processes
- An architect that can provide thought leadership around best practices, developed or supported business team in overall business processes, and defined functional requirements that needed to be supported by JDA ESP application
- Ability to prepare materials and drive/ conduct required design workshops with business personnel to explain how Blue Yonder works and document the as-is to to-be process
- Experienced in full development lifecycle in Blue Yonder - Business Process Design, Solution Blueprint, System Design, Build, Test, Deploy and Business Stabilization/ Hyper Care
