Job Description:
Work with business users to define and understand business requirements related to changes and enhancements of existing enterprise data warehouse. Understand existing ETL tool business logic / rules, data sources and convert same ETL jobs to Talend Perform root cause analysis on issues and suggest corrective measures Develop technical documentation, including requirements documents, process overviews, data models, data flow. Ability to work hand in hand with System Administrators, DB Administrators and Vendor support teams. Essential skills:
Proven experience in Talend TAC administration including day-to-day operations, security management, monitoring of the platform, troubleshooting, resolving issues with Talend support, etc.
Practical exposure to designing topology and installing Talend suite across different environments. Working in Agile environment
DevOps tools like JIRA, Bamboo, Ansible, GIT (stash or bitbucket), Nexus, SVN
10 Years of Proficient in designing and developing of mappings, transformations, sessions and workflows, and deploying integration solutions. Out of which atleast 3 years should be in using Talend.
Strong experience in performance tuning of ETL processes
Proficient in data integration between different sources. Extensively worked on data extraction, Transformation and loading data from various sources like Postgrace, Oracle and Flat files, in Talend
Knowledge and experience of working on SQL Queries and database scripting (procedures, functions, jobs, physical data model creation)
Experience in Development, Support, Maintenance, and Enhancement projects. Migration project experience will be preferred
Knowledge of Talend Administration Skills. Excellent Troubleshooting Skills
A very strong communication and analytical skills and also ability to work with developers, DBAs, Business and Architect
Desirable skills:
Data Warehousing experience
ETL experience using data integration tools (like SSIS, DataStage, Informatica, Talend)
Talend Big Data hands-on experience
AWS CloudFormation and CI/CD skills (i.e. Maven, Gradle, Ant, Bamboo)
