Front-End Software Developer
What You Will Be Doing
seeking a Front-End Software Developer with 5+ years of design and development experience. Candidate will be joining the existing team and be responsible for the design and development of the user interface for new and existing PHP Web based software applications.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Convert static mockup and design files produced by the graphics department into fully responsive and interactive web pages using PHP, Bootstrap, and Laravel
• Incorporating applications, dynamic API data, graphics, audio and video clips into client websites
• Creating tools that enhance the user’s website experience
• Ensuring websites are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones
• Conform to coding standards using industry best practices
• Engage stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Document requirement and design specifications
• Perform quality control on deliverables
What You Need to Bring
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Experience with UI/UX responsive HTML Design (Bootstrap)
• Experience in PHP (5 and 7), MySQL, CSS, HTML, Javascript (jQuery), AJAX, XML
• Knowledge of Zeplin and Sketch UI mockup tools
• Understanding of MVC frameworks Laravel and CodeIgniter
• Strong GIT workflow skills – distributed version control
• Experience working with SOAP and RESTful API components
• Strong attention to visual details
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Familiarity with command line instructions using Linux
• Ability to complete projects with strict deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor degree in information systems or equivalent
