OVERVIEW OF ROLE  
 
 
The Data Integrations Business Analyst will act as a primary point of contact resource for documenting, designing, mapping between our Enterprise Service Bus and our channel management, work order management, and our playout systems. They will interface with the business, business analysts, and application development team to elicit technical, functional, and nonfunctional requirements. They are knowledgeable across all systems in general and are also relied upon for 2nd level support for issues that have been escalated from Integration Support. Responsibilities include developing and following best practices for data mapping, transforming, encrypting, exchanging, error handling, testing, monitoring, documenting and reporting. The individual will be part of a team that is developing, deploying and maintaining solutions for critical business areas.  
 
 
The Data Integrations Business Analyst works directly with the core Project Team, Business Architect, Application Development team, and Integrations Test Team.
 
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·        Experience with WideOrbit Program, Evertz Mediator, and/or Xytech MediaPulse is highly desirable and a minimum of 10 years of experience in media & entertainment integrations required
 
·        Support, document, and develop for RESTful APIs; also develop API documentation for technical audiences
 
·        Implement new data integrations and support changes to existing integrations
 
·        Develop, test, and maintain process flows, document maps and configurations
 
·        Build and maintain data model mapping and list values between applications 
 
·        Conduct unit testing and end-to-end testing with application development team, integrations test team and other business partners
 
·        Interface with developers, business architect, and business users to analyze their data requirements and specifications
 
·        Work directly with our vendor to translate those requirements into a design document
 
·        Perform troubleshooting, analysis, problem solving, exception handling, and re-processing as necessary to ensure reliable operations
 
·        Deliver and maintain documentation of process and integration flows
 
·        Manage multiple deliverables in a highly energized and fast-paced environment
 
·        Follow existing source code management and version control processes for all coding efforts
 
·        Failed job monitoring including research and resolution of defects within given capability or offers
 
·        Recommendation for resolution by way of change request to manager
 
·        Ability to handle sudden changes, to adjust competing priorities and to meet deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
 
·        BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in media and entertainment integrations  
 
·        Strong experience in Web Services, Web API's, API management and protocols (REST, SOAP, HTTP, UDP etc.)
 
·        Expertise in Enterprise Integration Architecture, SOA, ESB, EDI, file transfer and complex mappings using industry standard integration tools
 
·        Hands on and extensive experience in developing integration processes
 
·        Experience in Enterprise Service Bus, Cloud Integration and/or MBaaS technologies Experience in Architecture and Design Modeling Tools UML, Code generation
 
·        Strong oral and written communication skills as interfacing with developers, business users, clients and business partners are critical to success
 
·        Experience in data modeling, mapping, business rules/logic, creating business process workflows
 
·        Experience in writing functional and technical documentation
 
·        Very strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
 
·        Excellent knowledge, with proven experience, of Microsoft Office/Office 365 applications
 
·        Must have excellent time management skills
 
·        Proven logical skills, detail oriented and strong organizational skills
 
·        Must be a self-starter, work well independently and in a team environment
