Essential Job Functions

The Scrum Master will work with our client's Cloud Native Engineering teams to manage a Scrum team and a Kanban team, leading all ceremonies, documentation, planning, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have solid planning, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills, and be able to work successfully with a variety of personalities. Additionally, the ideal candidate would have an interest in learning about the products the team is working on, and be inquisitive into the backlog. The Scrum team does not operate with a dedicated Product Owner, and as such, will rely on the scrum master to aid in ensuring the backlog is ready for sprint planning. For the Kanban team, it would be ideal if the Scrum Master would also be willing to grow into the position where he/she would be able to aid in the prioritization of support requests.

Status reports developed by the Scrum Master will be provided to the VP of Software Development, and as such it is imperative that the ideal candidate have an eye for detail and a solid understanding of the work that is being done.

Our client is looking for individuals willing to bring new technologies and processes to our team, while providing world-class support to our internal clients. We have a culture that values learning every day and being up to date on the latest technologies.
