The Sr. Business Analyst role will play a key role in the initiation and implementation of business process improvement initiatives. These activities will include:
· Identifying business requirements and drafting business cases, charters, and other project documentation
· Managing data gathering and analytics tasks
· Developing metrics to measure performance and capturing baselines to measure against for continuous improvement
· Developing visual data representations including process flows, graphs, presentations, reports, dashboards and other decision support tools
· Developing supporting documentation, metrics, etc to identify areas for improvement initiatives as well as measuring initiative success.
Requirements:
· Good awareness of the IT project life cycle
· Ability to draft and organize project documentation
· Ability to collect business requirement and translate the business goals into information requirements
· Awareness of data visualization
· General understanding of data integrations between systems and information flow
· Ability to profile and explore data sets from various systems to identify relevant data points to be used for initiative identification and implementation success metrics
· Proficiency in charts, pivot tables, dashboards, and creative data presentation
