Purpose Of Position |
The Business Analyst will work as the liaison between our client's Digital Marketing team, IT, and the development team. The position will focus on gathering business requirements, handling user acceptance testing, outlining and mitigating issues and special assignments related to the summer launch of the their Net Generation consumer website. |

Major Duties |

Develop an understanding of Net Generation’s overall vision, core business functionality, and document those into user stories for development team

Work closely with the digital Product team and their technology partners through software releases (planning through implementation).

Perform analysis to diagnose system defects and enhancements to define a comprehensive picture of required changes

Coordinate with development and testing teams to confirm software alignment with requirements and design
-
Coordinate with product owners and technical partners for user acceptance testing and production readiness for periodic releases and provide support for the business in running User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Work with business unit to address opportunities for improvements in processes and to mitigate issues

Outline detailed requirements and annotations between wireframes, designs, and develop the acceptance criteria for features to be tested against

Maintain ownership of multiple tasks and/or project work streams

Qualifications / Other |

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field

At least 5 years of work experience, particularly process management and requirements analysis

Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

Excellent problem solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills

Demonstrated skills in requirements elaboration, system design and development, user acceptance testing plans, etc.

Experience using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) preferred
-
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite desktop applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
-
Jira Software project tracking experience a plus
